HTTF-1200-III-H2 Three Zone Tube Furnace is a safe hydrogen tube furnace. The processing tube is made of high-quality Ni-based superalloy which never cracks and is broken at flowing Hydrogen gas. Two hydrogen detectors are included which will shut down the Hydrogen gas generator and gas inlet valve immediately once detecting hydrogen gas leaking. The Hydrogen Gas tube furnace is designed for processing material under hydrogen gas up to 1200°C safely. The precision temperature controller is 30 segment programmable.

 

Gas Furnace Structure

Double layer steel casing with air cooling to keep furnace surface temperature lower than 80°C

High purity fibrous alumina insulation for Max. energy saving

Hydrogen detector and solenoid valve are included for safe operation

4 alumina tube blocks (alumina coated on the surface) are included, to be put inside of the tube before operating the equipment in order to avoid heat radiation

MTS02-Y Temperature control software kit (for YD518P series controllers) + 15" laptop package is available at the options bar.

You may upgrade the controller to the Eurotherm 3004 with +/- 0.1 accuracy, which is compatible with LabVIEW. This package includes a Eurotherm 3004 programmer, and a communication cable (RS485 - USB).

Flanges and Gas Inlet

A set of SS304 flanges are included, KF-25 gas outlet port

Vacuum level: 10-2 torr using a mechanical pump, 10-5 torr using a molecular pump (pump is not included)

Max withstand pressure for the standard flange included is 0.3 Mpa. Customization (up to 5 Mpa) is available at an extra cost

Hydrogen Detector System

Two Gas Detector is Integrated into the system. One is installed on the furnace to monitor potential gas leakage. The other one is portable which can be used to check other ports

Working Temperature Range: -20ºC to +60ºC

Detectable range: 1 - 1000 ppm

Two-level Alarm Point:

First level alarm point: once it reaches 50 ppm, the alarm is trigged

Second level alarm point: once it reaches 100 ppm, it will shut off the inlet valve to the H2 automatically

Gas-outlet Flow-meter

One 1000 ml/min floating meter is installed on the gas-outlet end for adjusting gas flow rate

1/4" Dia stainless steel tube is installed for burning hydrogen gas during gas flowing

One long lighter is included in the standard package for igniting hydrogen gas manually

One 6" long neck flexes safe lighter is included for lighting hydrogen gas

One year limited warranty for electrical and mechanical parts
Attention: A free course of safety operation training at field is required to purchase this furnace. A customer's side training is also available upon request at extra cost. If the users believe that they have sufficient experience and knowledge to handle the furnace in the dangerous or emergent situation, a liability release agreement must be signed at the purchase. HT is not responsible for any damages caused by misuse without the safety operation training. Any damages caused by the corrosive and acidic gases are not under the coverage of the One Year Limited Warranty.

Warning

Tube furnaces with alumina tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.12 atm (absolute pressure)

The flow rate for gases should be limited to < 200 SCCM for reducing thermal shocks to the tube

Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. 

Vacuum limit definition for all quartz tube furnaces: up to 1000°
