HTTF-1800 vacuum furnace is a bench top tube furnace with Kanthal Super-1900C Grade MoSi2 Heating Elements. The temperature of bench-top tube furnace is controlled by a 30 segment programmable digital controller with an accuracy of +/-1 ºC. This horizontal tube furnace has a max. working temperature up to 1800 C. This vacuum tube furnace is widely used in material & chemical researching labs.

  • HTTF-1800 vacuum furnace is a bench top tube furnace with Kanthal Super-1900C Grade MoSi2 Heating Elements and high-quality alumina refractory board with ZrO2 liner. Vacuum sealing flanges with valves, vacuum gauge, and a high purity alumina processing tube are included for immediate use. The temperature of bench-top tube furnace is controlled by a 30 segment programmable high precision SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) digital controller with an accuracy of +/-1 ºC. This horizontal tube furnace has a max. working temperature up to 1800 ºC. This vacuum tube furnace is widely used in material & chemical researching labs to sinter all types of new material samples under vacuum and other gas conditions.

    Processing Tube

    Premier Grade alumina tube made in the USA

    ID: 54mm x OD: 60 mm x 1000 mm length

    Four fibrous ceramic tube blocks are included for blocking heat radiation from inside tube (Ceramic blocks must be fully inserted into the furnace chamber before heating).

    Sealing Flanges

    One pair sealing flange with double silicone high-temperature O-ring is included.

    Two SS needle valves and one dial vacuum gauge are installed with flange for immediate use.

    Vacuum pressure can reach 50 mTorr by a quality mechanical vacuum pump and 10^-5 torr by a turbo molecular pump. Please click the picture below to see the flange assembling details.

    Fitting Ports

    Standard 1/4‘’ Barbed fittings with needle valves.

    For supplying high-pressure gas, you may replace the standard barbed hose fitting with the 304SS 1/4" Swagelok® Tube Fitting, please click underlined to order.

    How to set up ceramic tube and vacuum flange for Horizontal Tube Furnace 

    Proper placement of tube blocks

    The tube furnaces with alumina tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02 Mpa

    Never use graphite crucible in an alumina tube.

    The gas flow rate should be limited to < 200 SCCM (or 200ml/min)

    Vacuum limit definition for all alumina tube furnaces: * Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1500°C
